The challenge with IowaCASA was to create a 503c-compliant website that could be accessed and understood by any visitor. High color contrast was important, as well as accessibility by screen readers. The "escape" button is in a fixed position on the page and serves as a quick way to close the web page in an emergency, but can also be set to scroll using the controls at the top of the page. The page's font size is also adjustable.
Role: I created the design in Photoshop and used XHTML and CSS to turn it into a functional website.
